Welcome

Welcome to the official Trinity Church Yard Cemetery Association website. The Trinity Church Yard Cemetery Association is made up of a Board of Trustees who oversee and manage the cemetery grounds and Church. This property was deeded to the Association in 1854 by Arthur Livermore Jr. His father, Samuel Livermore, was one of the original proprietors of the Town of Holderness and had the Trinity Church constructed in 1797 on his land holdings. It remains the second oldest Episcopal church in New Hampshire and has a rich history. The Church is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and remains available for weddings and services. Nearby Holderness School (which opened in 1879 with a sermon given in the Church) continues to hold an annual service there.

Note to Proprietors:

Please remove all flowers, flags and other objects from your plot by November 15. Please notify our president or treasurer if you have transferred your lot to the younger generation or to new owners. We need the correct contact information, too. Thank you.
